Dr. Savicky will perform your pet's surgery with the assistance of your hospital's support staff. Dr. Savicky has over a decade & a half of experience, numerous publications in journals and magazines, and has trained dozens of veterinarians in advanced surgical procedures. Dr. Savicky will bring advanced, referral level veterinary surgery conveniently to your primary care veterinarian's office.
After surgery your pet will be monitored and hospitalized by your primary care veterinarian. They will coordinate with you a convenient discharge time.
Your pet will receive customized discharge instructions that include medications, incision care, activity restrictions, physical therapy, diet, and a recheck schedule.
Your primary care veterinarian will perform all follow-up exams and diagnostics. In the rare instance of a complication, Dr. Savicky is only a phone call/email away to give his recommendations.
We understand that this an overwhelming time for you and your pet. Your primary care veterinarian will generally make the diagnosis and review the surgery in detail.
