PEAK Veterinary Surgical Solutions is owned by Dr. Roman Savicky, a board certified small animal veterinary surgeon (DACVS-SA). Doctor Savicky is committed to offering cutting-edge veterinary surgery to Arizona's veterinary community.
We work directly with the primary care veterinarian to offer advanced surgical care in the comfort and convenience of their hospital. We offer our services to veterinarians in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.
For over a decade & a half, Dr. Savicky has dedicated himself to learning, practicing, and teaching advanced veterinary surgical procedures. He has mentored numerous interns, specialty interns and residents, and helped guide them to achieve their desired goals.
Dr. Savicky has continued to master his profession with numerous advanced training courses:
Roman Savicky, DVM, DACVS-SA was born and raised in Arizona, and after many years away for training, he is excited to return home. After graduating from ASU and being accepted into veterinary school at CSU, Dr. Savicky realized his passion for surgery. Following completion of his internship, Dr. Savicky completed a second one-year, more specialized internship in small animal surgery at the prestigious Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, in Houston, TX. After completion of his surgical internship, Dr. Savicky accepted a three-year small animal surgical residency. During his residency, Dr. Savicky was exposed to a high volume of state-of-the-art orthopedic, soft tissue, and neurologic surgical procedures. After completion of his residency, Dr. Savicky passed the rigorous American College of Veterinary Surgery Boards testing to become a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, Small Animal (DACVS-SA).
When not at work, Dr. Savicky enjoys time with his wife, as well as his Pugs, Henry and Lucy. Dr. Savicky also has a passion for travel, sports, and scuba diving.
Ashlee has worked in veterinary medicine for almost 20 years. Born and raised in Iowa, Ashlee grew up with a small zoo at home ranging from dogs and cats to iguanas and rats! This experience helped encourage her love of animals. She completed her degree in Nebraska before moving to Arizona.
Ashlee has been a CVT since 2004 and has experience in multiple specialties, including surgery, emergency/critical care, and neurology. Her true passion, however, is with surgery and anesthesia.
Ashlee currently lives in Gilbert with her fiancé, two beautiful daughters, 1 dog, and 1 cat.
Andrew always had a love for animals but became interested in the veterinary field after watching his brother (Dr. Roman Savicky), complete his training to become a veterinarian.
Andrew has been working in the field for over 17 years at the same hospital that Dr. Savicky once worked at as a veterinary assistant. Andrew has been a kennel assistant where he not only helped with general hospital cleaning, but he also was involved with cleaning, sterilizing, and wrapping of surgical instruments. Andrew would also assist with dental or surgical procedures when needed. Additional duties included care of boarded animals as well as assisting doctors and technicians with patient examinations and treatments. "I feel like I learn something new every day, and that's what I love most about my job".
In his spare time, Andrew enjoys watching anything that involves cars, especially his favorite car, a 1964 Impala SS. Andrew also has a dream to drive the entire Route 66. At home, Andrew enjoys his time with his 2 dogs Muscha and Rascal.
PEAK is excited to now offer intraoperative anesthesia as an elective service. PEAK can now provide an experienced CVT to perform anesthesia so you no longer need to take a technician off the floor. Please contact us for more information.
